TVS has updated the Apache RTR 200 4V to comply with the new BS6 norms. It also comes with a host of new updates. lets go through them.
The engine is the same 197.75cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox which now produces 20.5 PS of power and 16.8 Nm of torque. The bike is now fuel injected to comply with the BS6 norms, expect a crisper throttle response. It comes with a new segment-first feature called GTT (Glide Through Traffic), when the clutch is released without applying throttle, the bike moves at a constant speed, it helps during low-speed city traffic riding.
In terms of visuals, the bike has an all-new LED headlamp that has Claw-Styled position lamps and gives the bike a new and refreshed look. The bike now comes with Dual-Channel ABS with RLP (Rear wheel Lift-off Protection) control and a Slipper Clutch. It comes with the new SmartXonnect display which enables you to connect your phone to the display via Bluetooth and has a host of features such as Navigation, Race Telemetry, Tour Mode, Lean Angle Mode, Crash Alert and Call / SMS notification. It also comes with a feather-touch start system.
TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is available in two colours: Gloss Black and Pearl White. The bike is priced at Rs 1,25,000.
