2022 Kawasaki KLX450R Launched In India AT Rs. 8.99 Lakhs
In India, the Kawasaki KLX450R was introduced in 2022, with a starting price of Rs. 8.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). The KLX family’s flagship motorcycle has been tuned for additional low-end torque and is paired with a wide-ratio 5-speed transmission.
The 2022 Kawasaki KLX450R is powered by a 449cc liquid-cooled big-bore 4-stroke single-cylinder engine. Kawasaki hasn’t revealed the motorcycle’s power figures for India, but they’re expected to be the same as the rest of the world: 56.4 HP at 8500 RPM and 50 Nm at 7500 RPM.
It has a tiny all-digital instrument cluster featuring a speedometer, dual tripmeters, odometer, and clock. For greater visibility, there is an LED backlight. It has both an electric and a manual starter.
The off-roader has 315-mm ground clearance, a 935-mm seat height, and an 8-liter fuel tank.
The front suspension features 48 mm telescopic inverted forks with 305 mm travel and the rear suspension features Uni Trak with 315 mm travel.
The bike has a 250 mm semi-floating petal disc brake in the front and a 240 mm petal disc brake in the back for braking.
