The third-generation, brand-2023 BMW X1 was introduced in India during the current BMW Joytown event in Bengaluru.

The new X1 lacks all-wheel drive but is still available with both petrol and diesel engines, much like the vehicle from the previous generation.

The petrol version’s introductory pricing is Rs 45.90 lakh, and the diesel version’s price is Rs 47.90 lakh.

Bookings for the new X1 are currently being accepted at the dealer level for a nominal fee of Rs 50,000, as we had previously reported.

The 2023 BMW X1 is larger than the outgoing model in every dimension, measuring 53mm longer, 24mm wider, 44mm higher, and 22mm longer in the wheelbase.

The SUV has sleek surfaces and flat door handles in profile, and the India-spec version rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels.

Slim wraparound LED taillights and a sculpted rear bumper with matching silver inlays are added to the back of the vehicle.
