Yamaha is preparing to return to the premium bike sector in India, and the R3 is possibly the most eagerly anticipated of the bikes it will debut.
The rest of the bike is mechanically comparable, with a 321cc parallel-twin engine that produces 42hp at 10,750rpm and 29.5Nm at 9,000rpm.

When it is released in India, the Yamaha R3 will compete alongside the KTM RC 390, BMW G 310 RR, and another rev-happy parallel twin from Japan, the Kawasaki Ninja 400.
