The biggest and most powerful model ever is Mazda's new flagship SUV.

The Mazda CX-90, which has a rear-biased engine arrangement, makes the automaker's new big platform premiere in 2024.

The SUV is offered as a plug-in hybrid or with an inline six-cylinder mild hybrid powertrain.

A new L-shaped light signature is featured on Mazda's well-known front design.

The inline-six engine has the most power and torque of any Mazda series production engine at 340 horsepower and 369 pound-feet.

Mazda's interior designers combine texture and natural materials to produce a cabin that seems upscale.

The bigger electric motor and 17.8 kilowatt-hour battery are elements of the plug-in hybrid model.

Mazda hasn't said how far its EV mode can travel, but it's fair to assume that it will go about 20 miles.

The platform and drivetrain of the CX-90 have a significant influence on the new outward appearance.
