Maruti Suzuki, the biggest automaker in India, has upgraded a number of its models with new connection capabilities.
This upgrade is available for Maruti's premium hatchback Baleno, 7-seater MPV Ertiga, and Ertiga's premium variant, the XL6.
While the new cars will be released with them, these feature enhancements will be accessible to existing customers via an OTA (over-the-air) update.
The SmartPlay Pro & Pro+ Infotainment System now has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, as well as Turn-By-Turn navigation.
The head-up display available on the top trim of the Baleno will show the turn-by-turn navigation capability.
While it is incompatible with Apple Maps, this turn-by-turn navigation is compatible with Google Maps on Android Auto.
The automaker has already upgraded the Brezza with all of these additional features.
These new connection options are available to both current and prospective subscribers.
However, Suzuki's SmartPlay Pro and Pro+ infotainment systems are the only ones that can receive these feature upgrades for automobiles.
