Honda has launched the BS6 version of the Dio, price starts at Rs 59,990.
The BS6 models are costlier by over Rs 5,000. Dio is the fourth product to be BS6 compliant from Honda’s Two-Wheeler portfolio.
Let’s go through the what changes have been made to the scooter in it’s BS6 avatar. First one is that it now gets a front storage pocket, you can store a water bottle or any other essential items in it, then comes the DC LED headlamp with constant illumination, the Dio now gets a new all-digital instrument cluster which comes with 3-Step Eco Indicator and a Engine Malfunction Light. In terms of braking it comes with a Combi-Brake System (CBS) with equalizer and a 3-step adjustable rear suspension and the wheelbase is now increased by 22mm, expect improved straight-line stability. Honda Dio now comes with Honda ACG starter, this feature starts the engine without jolt using the AC generator and the it charges the battery while riding. Honda is offering a 6-Year warranty package for the Dio (3 years standard + 3 years optional extended warranty)

The 2020 Honda Dio is available in two variants Standard (STD) and Deluxe (DLX). The STD variant is available in four colours – Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Candy Jazzy Blue, Sports Red and Vibrant Orange whereas the DLX variant is offered in 3 colours – Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Dazzle Yellow Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
The pricing of the Dio is as follows, Honda Dio STD- Rs 59,990, Honda Dio DLX- Rs 63,340.
