2020 Hyundai Creta Attracts Over 12,000 Bookings, To Be Priced Aggressively.
The 2020 Hyundai Creta will be launching on the 16th Of March 2020, the launch date was advanced by one day, previously it was set to launch on the 17th of March 2020, it will try to regain it’s lost ground over the KIA Seltos, the Creta has amassed over 12,000 bookings since bookings started on March 2nd. Sources say that the 2020 Hyundai Creta will be priced aggressively to make it competitive against it’s rivals the KIA Seltos, MG Hector and the TATA Harrier.
The new Creta is fitted with Hyundai’s Blue Link Connected Car Technology and comes with 10 colour options, including a few dual-tone paint schemes. The colour options are as follows, Lava Orange, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Red Mulberry, Titan Grey, Deep Forest, Galaxy Blue, Phantom Black, Polar White with Phantom Black and Lava Orange with Phantom Black. The new Creta will offer a 2-Step Reclining Rear Seat and Rear Window Sunshades to enhance passenger comfort and privacy.
Hyundai has included a few features such as, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7-inch instrument panel with digital display and a panoramic sunroof.
The 2020 Hyundai Creta will come with three engine options, there is a 1.4-litre Kappa Turbo-GDi petrol engine that churns out 140PS and 242Nm of torque, and is offered with a 7-speed DCT. The other petrol option is a 1.5-litre MPi mill that generates 115PS and 144Nm of torque, and is paired with a 6-speed MT or an IVT. The third option is a 1.5-litre U2 diesel engine that makes 115PS and 250Nm of torque, and is mated to a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.
The exterior of the new Creta has been completely redesigned and now it consists of a redesigned hood and grille and has new trio-beam LED headlamps with boomerang shaped LED DRLs in the front with LED Taillamps at the rear with the same boomerang shaped design. Other exterior features include twin-tip exhaust, roof rails, automatic ORVMs and 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
