Bajaj Dominar 250 Launched, ₹1.6 Lakh ex-showroom.
The most recent addition to Bajaj’s lineup is the Dominar 250, developed on the Dominar 400 platform, it is cheaper by almost ₹30,000 from the latter. It gets the same 248.8 cc DOHC engine which powers the KTM Duke 250, but is detuned to provide a more calm and touring friendly experience. The motor pumps out 27 PS of power and 23.5 NM of torque.
Bajaj claims that the Dominar 250 can reach a top speed of 132 kmph while it can clock 0-100 kmph in 10.5 seconds. Compared to it’s sibling the Dominar 250 gets a set of slimmer tyres, 130 section tyre in the rear and a 100 section tyre in the front, and the diameter of the front USD forks have come down to 37 mm compared to the 41 mm forks on the Dominar 400.
Braking department is handled by a 300 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is standard.
