The Pulsar RS200, the only full-faired motorcycle in Bajaj’s lineup has gotten the BS6 treatment and now comes with a BS6 compliant engine. Bajaj was able to achieve this by adding one major thing, a new catalytic converter. The liquid-cooled 199.5cc engine still produces the same power but loses 0.1 Nm of torque than before and now stands at 24.5 PS and 18.7 Nm.
Visually, there are no changes and it still comes with the parallel stacked twin-projector headlamps with LED DRLs, a full fairing and a muscular tank.
In the suspension and braking department nothing much has changed and it still comes with disc brakes in the front and rear with single-channel ABS, Bajaj removed the dual-channel ABS option to save extra costs. In the front it is the same telescopic suspension with a gas charged mono-shock at the rear. The kerb weight of the motorcycle has gone up to 166 kg.
The bike comes in the same 3 colors as before- Graphite Black, Racing Red and Racing Blue. The bike is now costlier by Rs 3,033 and now costs Rs 1,44,966 (ex-showroom)
