Yezdi Roadster, Scrambler, Adventure Launched, Price Starts From Rs 1.98 Lakh
Classic Legends has resurrected the iconic Yezdi brand with the introduction of three new models: the yezdi Roadster, Scrambler, and Adventure. The Roadster ranges in price from Rs 1.98 lakh to Rs 2.06 lakh, the Scrambler from Rs 2.05 lakh to Rs 2.11 lakh, and the Adventure from Rs 2.10 lakh to Rs 2.19 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
The three models are all powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine, but each is tuned differently, with slightly different power and torque figures. Similarly, each bike has a distinct chassis, with varying suspension and wheel sizes, among other differences.
The Yezdi Adventure has long-travel suspension (200mm in front and 180mm in back) and is the only bike in the lineup with a mono-shock. It also has a healthy 220mm ground clearance, and all of these figures are identical to those of the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The Adventure, like the RE, rides on 21-inch/17-inch wire-spoke wheels.
Dual-channel ABS is standard, with three modes – road, rain, and off-road – the latter of which presumably disconnects ABS at the rear wheel. The Adventure is the only Yezdi with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, which it implements via its unique LCD display, which can be tilted to accommodate both seating and standing riding positions.
The LED headlight and taillight are standard on all three models, but the Scrambler and Adventure are the only ones that get the three aforementioned ABS modes, LED indicators, and a handlebar-mounted USB charger. The Scrambler distinguishes itself by having twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear, less suspension travel (front: 150mm, rear: 130mm), slightly lower ground clearance (200mm), and a smaller 19-inch front wheel.
