2021 Volkswagen Polo GTI To Unveiled On June 16
The 7th-genre Volkswagen Polo GTI is partly disclosed via a drawing prior to its worldwide debut this year in June.
The picture was seen ahead of the annual GTI weekend in Volkswagen at Lake Wörthersee that was to take place from 12-15 May. The festival was nevertheless canceled in a row because of the pandemic for the second year. The sketch demonstrates that the 2021 Volkswagen Polo GTI will be given a sharper and revised look, with an LED strip over a grid.
Volkswagen says the new Polo GTI would have “exceptional driving characteristics, combined with extraordinary usability every day,” and reflects “pure dynamism and expressive style” at the end of June.
LED headlamps will be available as standard and a revised door and the latest IQ Light technology will be provided to the driver.
The company also showed that the new Polo would offer several optional driver support systems from Volkswagen, including Travel Assist and semi-autonomous Level 2 driving capabilities. As Polo’s highest available specification, these features are supposed to be received as usual by Polo GTI.
The new version of the Volkswagen MIB3 tactile-screen infotainment device and its new touch-sensitive sliders to track the internal temperature are both being brought over from the Gulf.
The previous Polo GTI was powered by a 203-hp 2,0-liter turbo-powered petrol motor and later by 210hp ones. It only comes with an automatic double box (DSG). The latest model will be announced at the launch with specifications.
No news is coming into India about the arrival of the 2021 Volkswagen Polo GTI soon. However, from 2016 to 2020, Volkswagen India sold here the 5th-genre Polo GTI.
