2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift Spotted Ahead Of Debut

The Hyundai Venue is one of the best compact SUVs on the market right now. The Venue sees a lot of good sales figures every month thanks to its choice of powertrain options, features, and Hyundai’s backing. The Venue, on the other hand, has been around since 2019, and the segment has witnessed a slew of new entrants, like the Kia Sonet. Hyundai is currently working on a facelift for the Venue, which has been sighted in Korea. By next year, the Venue revamp is slated to arrive on our shores. Let’s have a look at how the Venue has been updated:

With the cascading grille and projector headlamps, the 2022 Hyundai Venue appears to be comparable to the outgoing model at first glance. However, several features in the grille and bumper are likely to alter. The present Venue has projector headlamps, projector fog light, and LED DRL arrangement, all of which will be available with minimal alterations. The 2022 Hyundai Venue features new 16-inch alloy wheels on the side. A pair of new LED taillights can be found at the back. The facelifted Venue will have a comparable general silhouette and size.

The interior design is likewise expected to remain mostly intact. Hyundai is considering replacing the 8-inch infotainment system with a larger 10-inch display. A new instrument cluster with a larger screen is also expected. Like the last edition, the Venue makeover will be heavily loaded. The current Venue, for example, has a chilled glovebox, keyless entry, push start/stop, cruise control, sunroof, Bluelink connected car technology, automated climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen with android auto and apple car play, wireless charging, and projector headlamps.

The features available in the existing Venue will most likely be carried over to the facelifted Venue. There are three engine and transmission options available for the Venue. The 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine produces 83 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque.

The engine is connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.5-liter diesel engine produces 100 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque when paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine makes 120 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and a 6-speed iMT transmission.
