Citroen C3 Automatic Launched

The Citroen C3 Automatic has been introduced by Citroen in Brazil. The Citroen C3 in Brazil has a tonne of brand-new, cutting-edge features that the C3 on Indian roads is missing out on. More significantly, a 6-speed automatic transmission is an option. The automatic transmission and these features are anticipated to arrive in India at some point in the future.

The varied color scheme from the India-spec C3, which has an orange motif with white accents, is one of the several characteristics available. A new color scheme with both dual and single-tone paint possibilities is added to the Brazilian edition. In India, Citroen offers steel wheels as standard, and consumers must pay extra for alloy wheels. The best models of the Brazil-spec, however, come standard with alloy wheels.

A rear washer and wiper, rearview camera, and electrically powered outer rearview mirrors are additional C3 features available in the Brazilian market. Other amenities, including a 10.2-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and manual air conditioning, are identical to the India-spec model. The back seats are essentially identical to the front seats, although all three rear passengers are also provided with adjustable headrests and three-point seatbelts. In comparison to the Indian specification, the Citroen C3 for the Brazilian market is also safer because it has six airbags and a hill start assist.

Both models have the same size and design. The C3’s powertrain has changed, though, as it now uses 1- and 1.6-liter petrol engines with a 6-speed automated transmission for the Brazilian market. The 1.2-liter petrol turbocharged (NA) and normally aspirated (NA) engines are paired with 5-speed and 6-speed manual gearboxes, respectively, in the Indian model, which does not provide that choice. The C3 is Citroen’s second model offered in India and the nation’s first mass-market model. The B sector, where the C3 competes, includes everything from hatchbacks to small SUVs. Price ex-showroom ranges from Rs 5.70 lakh to Rs 8.055 lakh. There are Live and Feel versions of the C3.
