Citroen C5 Aircross Launched At A Price Of Rs 29.90 Lakh

Citroen C5 Aircross SUV is launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 29.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The C5Aircross is scheduled to launch last year as Citroen’s debut model for the Indian market, but it was due to the pandemic that it postponed the launch.

Citroen opened SUV bookings for early customers last month — for those who booked by 6 April— to use a 5-year additional maintenance package.
The C5 is available in an option of two models–Feel and Shine, as previously reported by us. The first is available in single tone (Rs 29.90 lakh) and dual-tone (Rs 30.40 lakh), the higher specification Shine for both one-tone and two-tone models is priced at Rs 31.90 lakh. The C5 Aircross Feel entry level is packed with several basic kits with automotive washers and lights,18″ alloys,12.3″ digital cable dials and8.0″ touchscreen, controlled driver’s seat, and dual-zone climatic access, free hands-on parking, 6 airbags, ESC, stability control, etc. On the other side, the fully-loaded Shine adds only remarkable pieces such as LED headlights, sunroof panoramic, and a free-hand tailgate.

The Citroen C5 Aircross is available in seven outer colors-three single shades and four double shades. Pearl White in single and double tones, cumulus grey in single and double tones, single, dual-tone Tijuca blue, and Pearl near black are all color choices. The SUV is also made of white finishing and has orange highlights on the outside, with silver accents on the others.

The India-specific C5 Aircross is available in a single 2,0-liter diesel engine with a combination of petrol and diesel engines in foreign markets. The engine is rated at 18.6kpl. The C5 also has a hydraulic progressive suspension system from Citroen, which is said to be able to filter bumps and dips out of the street and provide the occupants with a more supplementary ride.

The C5 Aircross is very expensive given its entry-level C5 Aircross Feel prices are higher than their chairman’s Hyundai Tucson* (Rs 24.60-27.33 lakh, former showroom, Delhi) and Jeep Compass*, which are fully fitted with 4×4 diesel* (Rs 18.69-28.29 lakh, ex-showroom, India).

Since the very beginning, the Citroen C5 Aircross has been manufactured locally by Citroen, which currently operates 10 La Maison deals nationwide. In order to expand the presence of the company in other cities, the carmaker has also introduced a mobile dealership. You can purchase the Citreon C5 Aircross from its website.
