Kawasaki ZX-4R Revealed, Now comes With 80hp

By Team torquexpert

The ZX-4R sportbike from Kawasaki has been introduced abroad, and the main talking point is that it is powered by a 399cc inline-four engine

This little engine has a maximum power output of 80 horsepower and can reach revolutions of over 15,000 rpm.

A 399cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine with a peak power output of 77.5 horsepower

A brand-new steel trellis frame with Showa suspension at each end houses this inline-four engine, albeit the specs change depending on the version.

The Showa SFF-BP fork (Separate Function Fork - Big Piston) and preload-adjustable horizontal monoshock are standard on the ZX-4R.

The SE version receives the same hardware but also offers front fork preload adjustment.

The ZX-4R's regular and RR models both weigh 188 kg, while the SE model comes in at 189 kg.

A 4.3-inch colour TFT dash with Bluetooth compatibility controls the whole system and offers turn-by-turn navigation and alerts for notifications.

Instead of the top-spec RR model in the ZX-4R lineup, the mid-spec SE variant has the most features.
