Hyundai i20 N Teased On Frozen Lake. Details revealed
Hyundai released a heavily camouflaged, the prototype of Hyundai i20 N’s teaser video shot in northern Sweden on a frozen lake in Arjeplog where lots of automakers come to fine-tune their future products. Hyundai Motorsport’s WRC driver Thierry Neuville is behind the disguised prototype.
It can be expected that the Hyundai i20 N will get performance-related design and styling tweaks, such as an updated grille and front bumper with house larger intakes for cooling the engine. It can be seen that It has larger wheels, thicker tires and larger front and rear disc brakes, and the brake calipers are finished in red. Double-barrel exhaust pipes can be seen clearly at the rear and it seems that the bumper design has been tweaked.
The Hyundai i20 N will have a powerful 204hp, 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine which will produce about 260Nm of peak torque and expected to be run by a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, though there are chances of a 6-speed manual version as well.
While the Hyundai i20 N will be a bottleneck for Indian roads, the regular spec 2020 BS6 Hyundai i20 is coming to India in late 2020.
