Matter Aera Electric Bike Bookings To Start On May 17
Bookings for Matter Energy’s first electric motorbike, the Aera, will begin on May 17.
Customers can reserve the electric vehicle on both the company’s website and on Flipkart.
Bookings will be available in twenty-five Indian cities, including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, and others.
The Matter Aera is the country’s first electric motorcycle with a transmission, and it comes in two models: 5000 and 5000+. Both models include a 5kWh liquid-cooled battery pack with a claimed real-world range of 125km. The Aera’s liquid-cooled engine has a reported peak power output of 10.5kW.
The Matter Aera costs Rs 1.44 lakh in the 5,000 models and Rs 1.54 lakh in the higher-spec 5,000+ variant. These costs are ex-showroom, India, and include the FAME-II subsidy but do not include state subsidies.
