Skoda Kushaq Interior Sketch Unveiled Before Its Launch On March 18, 2021
The first sketches of the next Kushaq SUV’s interior have been released by Skoda India. On 18 March 2021, the Skoda Kushaq will be premiered worldwide, after which it will be sold in India.
The sketch looks quite similar to the Vision IN SUV concept seen at the Auto Expo 2020. The Kushaq comes with a thin Chromium bar, which separates the top from the bottom. This chrome bar extends around the dash length and attaches at each end the wide chromium vents. Furthermore, orange accents on the dash, doors, and the central console may also be included in the liberalization of the SUV production spec.
The Skoda Kushaq gets a 10-inch touchscreen that has a long list of connectivity, navigation, and other features. Furthermore, the Skoda Virtual Cockpit, with digital dials and a lot of detail, can perform instrumentation functions that will be digitally displayed instead of conventional analog systems.
Interestingly enough, in the latest skits published by Skoda, the “crystalline element” mounted on the ceiling of the concept is not seen.
The steering wheel can also be seen on the newest Skoda’s like Superb and Octavia. A comparable steering wheel would be safe to expect on the next Rapid-Replacement Sedan. Furthermore, a closer look shows the existence of knurled scroll wheels, along with phone control keys, voice control, lane support, and cruise control. The gear lever that appears like that of a manual gearbox is placed centrally on the slim center console. The automatic transmission is also provided for the SUV. The center console also contains HVC keys, which appear instead of rotary dials like touch-sensitive units.
On the outside, a popular Skoda grill with a dual headlight is on the Kushaq. It gets a muscular bumper that has some cuts and creases.
On the rear, a roof spoiler and a faux diffuser, and wrapped LED taillights to add width to the design. The higher versions of 17-inch alloy wheels will be standard.
The Kushaq is built on an Indian MQB-A0-IN platform, shared by the VW Taigun SUV and the substitutes for the existing VW Vento and Skoda Rapid. Kushaq would have 1.0-liter and 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine options.
A manual 6-speed torque converter with auto gearbox options is provided for the 110hp 1,0-liter TSI unit while manual and automatic double-clutter options are available for the 150hp 1.5-liter TSI engine.
In the next few days, we will be coming with more information about the Skoda Kushaq ahead of its launch on March 18, 2021.
