2023 Kia Seltos To Make Its India Debut Soon
The 2023 Kia Seltos has been introduced by Kia in the American market. The company’s flagship SUV has been redesigned and is now available internationally with a number of enhancements, including ADAS as standard equipment on all trim levels. Additionally, the company has updated SUVs with AWD available in foreign markets. The automaker hasn’t made any official announcements about the debut of the upgraded SUV in India. However, according to industry reports, the facelifted Seltos SUV will arrive in our market by July of this year. The features supplied with the Kia Seltos facelift may or may not be included with the vehicle built specifically for India.
The exterior’s main draw is the newly designed grille at the front with integrated LED DRLs. It also receives an updated bumper, LED projector headlamps, and a new faux skid plate. The SUV sports new connected LED tail lights at the back in addition to a new bumper. The upgraded SUV also has 17-inch alloy wheels now.
The Seltos SUV facelift’s inside includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and an Android Auto and Apple CarPlay-compatible 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It sports a leather-covered steering wheel and gear knob in addition to synthetic leather seats. Wireless charging, heated and ventilated front seats, an electronic parking brake, dual-zone automatic climate control, and more are some of the SUV’s further standout features. The Seltos SUV also comes with the ADAS suite.
The SUV has two engine choices for its powertrain: a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine can produce 195 bhp and 264 Nm, whereas the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine can produce 146 bhp and 179 Nm. Both iMT and DCT gearboxes are linked to the engines. The Seltos also marks the launch of Kia’s first all-wheel drive system.
In India, Kia intends to release the facelift model. However, the launch date of the facelift version is not yet officially confirmed. There are many rumors that the redesigned Seltos SUV would make its debut in the nation soon after its global premiere. The updated Seltos SUV would reportedly be unveiled in India in July 2023, according to a number of market reports.
