Hero Passion Plus And Xtreme 200S 4V Unveiled Before its Launch

The Hero Passion Plus and the Xtreme 200S 4V are two new models that Hero MotoCorp will shortly introduce to the Indian market. These bikes have been seen at dealers in South India in production-ready form, hinting that a debut isn’t too far off.

Hero Passion Plus

The Hero Passion Plus will be discussed first because it is the most well-liked of the two new bikes. With Honda’s recently introduced Shine 100 and the Passion Plus’s reintroduction into the extremely lucrative 100cc motorcycle market, Hero appears to be preparing to take on Honda head-on. The Passion Plus model from the past, which is coming in 2023, shares the same platform as the Splendour and HF versions.

The 97cc “Sloper” engine that the Passion Plus looks to employ has been modified to comply with the current OBD-2 standards and to run on E20 fuel (as can be seen from the sticker on the tank). Priced between Rs 56,968 and Rs 76,346 (ex-showroom, Delhi) are the existing Hero HF and Splendour bikes, and when the Passion Plus is released, we anticipate it to fall somewhere in that range as well.

Regarding the present-day Xtreme 200S, it is the only 200cc motorcycle in Hero’s lineup that continues to employ the older 2-valve engine, which was introduced on the Xpulse 200. With this update, the more modern and tuned 4-valve engine will power all of Hero’s 200cc bikes.

Xtreme 200S 4V

The Xtreme 200S 4V looks pretty similar to the previous model from a visual standpoint, but the bright yellow color that has been noticed here does look very eye-catching and should make the bike stand out from the crowd. The Xtreme 200S 4V now employs the same mirrors as the Xtreme 160R and the Xoom scooter, as opposed to the same units as the current model (also found on the Xpulse 200T 4V). This is another modification that can be noted.

Priced at Rs 1,35,360 (ex-showroom, Delhi) as of right now, the Xtreme 200S will likely cost more after the 4V update. We anticipate that both bikes will be released in the upcoming weeks given that they have begun to arrive at dealerships and appear to be nearly production ready. Keep checking back for more.
