Hyundai i20 N Line Unveiled- Bookings open

In India, Hyundai has unveiled the i20 N Line and has begun taking reservations for the new premium hatchback.

The Hyundai i20 N Line, which will be available in two models – N6 and N8, will be launched in September with a booking fee of Rs. 25,000/-.

Because of the visual improvements, this new top-spec edition of the i20 series looks sportier than the normal model. It has a redesigned radiator grille, side skirts and bumpers that have been adjusted (the rear bumper incorporates a diffuser), and a twin-muffler exhaust system.

A dark chrome trim connects the tail lamps, and Hyundai has also added a boot lid spoiler and new 16-inch alloy wheels, as well as red accents throughout the vehicle.
Fiery Red, Polar White, Thunder Blue (unique), and Titan Grey are the monotone colour options for the Hyundai i20 N Line.

The Fiery Red and Thunder Blue hues, for example, are also available in dual-tone versions, with the roof painted in Phantom Black.
Black leatherette seats with red stitching and chequered flag design with the ‘N’ emblem, 3-spoke steering wheel, leather gear knob with ‘N’ branding, metal pedals, and red ambient lighting are all standard on the i20 N Line.

It is, of course, jam-packed with features. Among the features include a digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a sunroof.

In addition, the Hyundai i20 N Line features speech recognition, and Hyundai’s BlueLink programme has been updated.

A 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 120 PS and 172 Nm of torque powers the automobile. A 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT are available gearbox options. On the inside, the latter version adds paddle shifters.

Hyundai claims to have enhanced the on-centre steering feel, adjusted the suspension for better handling and fitted disc brakes to all four corners of the vehicle (the front brake callipers are finished in red).

Safety-wise, the new variant of the i20 range features 6 airbags, ESC, VSC, Hill Assist Control (HAC), among others.
When it is released, the i20 N Line will cost at least Rs. 1 lakh more than the standard car’s corresponding models (Sportz, Asta/Asta(O)).
