Hyundai plans to launch six battery electric cars (BEVs) in India by 2028 with an expenditure of Rs 4,000 crore. The Ioniq 5 is the first of these. The Ioniq 5 is the first product to be built on the electric-global modular platform developed by Hyundai Motor Group (E-GMP).

The Ioniq 5, one of the most well-known EVs on the planet, took home three awards from the 2022 World Car Awards: World Car of the Year, World Electric Vehicle of the Year, and World Car Design of the Year.

Bookings for the Hyundai Ioniq 5 started at a low price of Rs 1 lakh when it was revealed in India last month. The dimensions of the electric SUV are 4,635mm in length, 1,890mm in width, 1,625mm in height, and 3,000mm in wheelbase. It comes with 20-inch alloy wheels with a parametric design, LED headlamps with pixel-like parametric patterns, and LED taillamps with the same pattern.
