Liger X- India’s First Self Balancing Scooter

At the Auto Expo 2023, the self-balancing electric scooters Liger X and Liger X+ from start-up EV producer Liger Mobility were unveiled.

Liger X

Both electric scooters are equipped with the business’s exclusive AutoBalancing technology. Due to this, none of the two new electric scooters from Liger Mobility requires additional support to stay upright.

When it comes to this self-balancing scooter, the Liger x Price in India starts at Rs 90,000. The cost of the Liger x+ has not yet been disclosed, although it is expected to be approximately 1.23 lakh.

Additionally, the electric scooters’ AutoBalancing technology from Liger Mobility operates not just at slow speeds but also in reverse. It’s also important to note that the AutoBalancing technology on the electric scooters may be disabled by the rider or at a specified speed.

This technology already seems to have a lot of potentials since kids will find it to be a truly helpful feature. In addition, the electric scooters have a “Learner Mode” that enables the user to use the AutoBalancing feature while lowering the electric scooter’s peak speed.

The lithium-ion battery pack on the Liger X is detachable and can be fully charged in 3 hours. It is claimed that the electric scooter has a range of 60 kilometres on a fully charged battery pack. The highest speed of the Liger X electric scooter is 65 km/h.

The Liger X+, on the other hand, has a bigger non-removable battery pack with a stated range of 100 kilometres and a charging time of 4.5 hours. The Liger X+ also features a TFT display, turn-by-turn navigation, notification alerts, and smartphone connectivity.

Both electric scooters share features including live position tracking, tow warning, accident alert, battery temperature metre, and a few more. Aside from that, each of these electric scooters comes in a choice of grey, titanium, arctic white, red, or blue, among other colours. By the end of this year, both of these electric scooters should have been ordered by then. Bookings are anticipated to start in mid-2023.

The electric scooters now include Liger Mobility’s AutoBalancing technology, which seems fairly promising and will be a great feature for new learners. Additionally, self-balancing technology greatly increases safety, especially for new riders.
