Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG Launched At A Price Of Rs 9.14 Lakh
The Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG was introduced by Maruti Suzuki in India for a starting price of Rs 9.14 lakh for the base LXi trim and a maximum price of Rs 11.90 lakh for the top-spec ZXi trim. Moreover, for an extra Rs 16,000, a dual-tone color option is available for the ZXi trim. Since the diesel-powered Vitara Brezza was retired in 2020, the Brezza has never had two fuel options.
The same 1.5-liter K15C DualJet engine that powers the CNG variants of the Ertiga and XL6 MPVs is also used to power the Brezza. The only transmission option for the engine is a 5-speed manual. In the petrol-only mode, it generates 101hp and 136Nm, while in the CNG mode, it only produces 88hp and 121.5Nm. According to Maruti, the Brezza CNG has a fuel efficiency of 25.51 km/kg.
Both the exterior and inside of the cabin are unchanged aesthetically. To make room for the CNG tank, the boot area has been reduced in comparison to the fuel version.
The inside of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG is all black. The ZXi trim of the Brezza CNG from Maruti Suzuki comes with amenities like a 7.0-inch touchscreen with SmartPlay Pro+ system, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, start/stop button, sunroof, and cruise control. The Brezza CNG is available from Maruti Suzuki in the LXi, VXi, and ZXi trim levels.
The Brezza is now the only small SUV in India with a CNG engine. The Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Mahindra XUV300, forthcoming Maruti Fronx, and Tata Nexon are some of its rivals in the class of small SUVs.
