Toyota Innova Crysta Diesel Facelift Launched With Minor Changes; Bookings Commence Now
Toyota has re-released the well-liked Innova Crysta in the Indian market and has started taking reservations for the 2023 model year for Rs 50,000. In the upcoming days, prices for the upgraded Toyota Innova Crysta will be released. As we previously reported, the Toyota Innova Crysta Diesel will continue to be marketed alongside the recently introduced Innova Hycross.
Even if the 2023 Innova Crysta’s appearance is essentially intact, a little facelift is confirmed by the photograph supplied by Toyota. Toyota has changed the front fascia, which now has a new front chin and a front grille that is somewhat smaller and more prominent in an effort to give the car an SUV-like appearance. The casings for the fog lamps have also been updated. However, the side profile and alloy wheel design are unchanged.
The 2023 model will only be available with diesel engines, as opposed to the existing Innova Crysta’s petrol and diesel engine choices, which were quietly withdrawn in late 2022. The 2.4-liter diesel engine will remain coupled to a five-speed manual transmission; an automatic transmission will not be available.
Toyota will be selling two Innova models together for the first time in this transaction. The Innova Hycross had both gasoline and diesel fuel powertrain options, however, the current Innova Crysta only has diesel powertrain options.
The Innova Crysta will be offered in four trim levels for 2023: G, GX, VX, and the highest-spec ZX. All trims, with the exception of the ZX, will be offered in either seven- or eight-seat configurations; the ZX is only available as a seven-seater.
The feature list for the upcoming 2023 Innova Crysta has also been updated. The MPV has a motorized driver’s seat, multi-zone temperature control, picnic tables for the second row, leather seats in higher trim levels in a variety of color shades, ambient lighting, and a one-touch tuck function for the seats in the second row. An 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will handle the infotainment functions.
The new 2023 Innova Crysta has seven airbags, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and hill start assistance as far as safety features go. Three-point seatbelts are now standard equipment on all Innova Crysta models for every passenger.
