Triumph Rocket 3 GT Launched In India At INR 18.40 Lakh
The new Rocket 3 GT has been launched by Triumph Motorcycles in India at 18.40 lakh. It costs around 40,000 more than the Rocket 3 motorcycle’s standard version. The new Rocket 3 GT is a touring-focused variant of this Triumph powered by one of the biggest engines to be mounted on a motorcycle in history.
The Triumph Rocket 3 GT provides a comfortable riding position as opposed to the R version, with forward-set footpegs. The bike also gets three horizontal position settings and a handlebar designed for touring. The Rocket 3 GT also gets heated grips, adjustable pillion footpegs, more supportive seats with a regular adjustable backrest for the pillion, and even a taller fly screen for fast highway cruising.
The Triumph Rocket 3 GT shares its heart with its cousin Rocket 3 R as regards results. The motorcycle is powered by a 3-cylinder 2.5-liter. As a matter of fact, this is also the biggest motorcycle output motor in the world, generating a massive 165 bhp of maximum power and a peak torque of 221 Nm. The Triumph Rocket 3 GT receives twin-LED headlights with LED DRLs, USD front forks, and big tires. Even the bike gets a single-sided swingarm and the exhaust system to separate it from its cousin. Triumph also produced some awards and muscle elements such as the sculpted fuel tank with central recess brushed stainless steel tank strap and Monza-style cap, brushed aluminum air-box cover, and Monza-style brushed aluminum coolant and oil casings.
Additionally, some of the Rocket 3 GT’s main electronics features include a Bluetooth-enabled full-color TFT dash with GoPro controls, hill-hold control, four ride modes, ABS cornering, and a traction control system. There are also two color options for the new Triumph Rocket 3 GT-Silver Ice / Storm Grey and Phantom Black. The company has also launched over 50 new products including a whole new range of luggage as well as practicality and comfort enhancement features. Triumph also released a new Inspiration Package, called the Highway.
