Suzuki Launches The BS6 Model Of Intruder, Costs Rs 14,000 More.
The BS6 model of the Suzuki Intruder has been launched with changes to the engine’s fueling from carburetor to fuel injection. This has enabled the motorcycle to comply with the BS6 norms but with a loss of 0.4 hp in power and 0.2 Nm in torque. The power figures now stand at 26.5 hp of power and 22.6 Nm of torque. We feel the difference is very small and won’t be noticeable in day-to-day commutes or highway cruises. The fuel injection system has made the throttle very responsive than before and it continues to get the 5-speed gearbox which was found on the previous model.
Visually there are no changes and the motorcycle is now available in 3 dual-tone colour options namely, Glass Sparkle Black – Metallic Matte Titanium Silver, Metallic Matte Black – Candy Sanoma Red, and Metallic Matte Titanium Silver.
Feature-wise it is the same with the full-digital instrument console, front and rear disc brakes with single-channel ABS and 17-inch alloy wheels with 100/80-17 section front tyre and 140/60-R17 section rear tyre.
The BS6 Suzuki Intruder now costs Rs 1.01 Lakh with a increase of Rs 14,000 from the previous model.
