2021 Audi RS5 Sportback To Launch Soon

Audi India is preparing to unveil the facelifted RS5 Sportback in the coming weeks. The S5, a more refined version of the RS5, was just released at a price of 79.06 lakhs. Because the Sportback version of the RS5 is more practical, Audi will most likely bring it in instead of the coupe. The RS5 will compete against the BMW M3 and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG when it is released.

The aesthetic updates that are done to the 2021 Audi RS5 Sportback are carried over to the new RS5. The 2021 Audi RS5 Sportback series gets a bolder front end with a broader and flatter single-frame grille, reworked side sills, and optional LED matrix headlights. The car also gets a new rear diffuser and front bumper, as well as new air vents fitted beneath the front grille to give it a much meaner appearance. The 2.9-litre TFSI twin-turbo V6 engine that powers the RS5 delivers over 450 PS and 600 Nm of peak torque, which is about 170 Nm more than its predecessor.

This strong V6 engine propels the automobile from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 3.9 seconds and to a high speed of 250 km/hr, which is electronically limited. If you want a little more thrill behind the wheel, the RS dynamic package can assist the car reaches a top speed of 280 kph. Audi will now provide a carbon-fibre roof for the European variants of the RS5 cars as part of the optional RS package.

The car rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and comes with a pair of carbon-fibre ceramic brakes with red, black, grey, or blue callipers as an option. These cars are also available with Audi‘s RS performance suspension and Dynamic Ride Control (DRC). The cars will have a new 10.1-inch MMI infotainment display with touchscreen capabilities and massive aluminium paddle shifters behind the steering wheel on the inside. The RS logo can be found on the centre console, armrest, and seat belt. Customers will also be able to choose the RS5 in two new colours: Turbo Blue and Tango Red, both with a carbon package as an option.
