2021 Maserati Grecale SUV Spied Ahead Of Launch

2021 Maserati Grecale is the second SUV for the sports car manufacturer and is scheduled for worldwide disclosure later this year. Now, the Porsche Macan rival’s spy photos have been posted that provide the greatest appearance of the next model.

The Greek is obviously the same size as the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, with whom it shares the most of its supports, and the influence of the bigger Levante is visible, despite extensive camouflage that obscures much of the last vehicle design.

The second major SUV of the company was called Grecale after the powerful Mediterranean North-East Wind. The vehicle is a major component of Maserati’s courageous recovery strategy begun with the MC20 supercar shown last year.

The Porsche Macan rival will be manufactured on the same manufacturing line as Alfa Romeo Stelvio at FCA’s Cassino, Italy in order to play “a vital part in the brands’ development.” Investments are planned by Maserati of around €800 million (approx. Rs 7,100 crore).

The 2021 Maserati Grecale will debut in a completely electric form by 2022. Instead of Alfa-sourced engines, however, these combustion engine types would probably feature the mild-hybridized 2.0-liter turbo in the Ghibli and Levante motorcycles and a detachable version of the new Nettuno V6 MC20 in the most powerful.

As part of a comprehensive revamp of its product line-up, the new SUV was originally confirmed in 2018 by former FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne. The new GranTurismo and the new GranCabrio are featured in three variants: Coupé, Spider convertible, and completely electric, as well as in combustion and electric form.

The brand will also feature a new Levante and Quattroporte generation by 2023/2024, both with an electric engine. The 800V electrical system and three engines are used in the high-speed format.

Maserati just introduced the Ghibli update in India, including both the mild-hybrid and the V8-powered Trofeo models. Also the Quattroporte Trofeo and Levante Trofeo have been set up. The recently announced Levante hybrid, like the MC20, is also on the cards.

The Greek company also appears like a potential contender for our market as Maserati expands its Indian reach.
