2021 MG ZS EV To Launch On 8th February 2021

MG Motor India first made its debut in India with Hector in 2019 and followed it with the first EV system in India, the ZS EV. Subsequently, MG extended its range to India with the introduction of Gloster last year. MG then launched the Hector facelift last month and now made a whole loop to update the ZS EV. However, on 8th February 2021 MG will commence the 2021 ZS EV in India.

2021 MG ZS EV

MG has launched the 2021 MG ZS EV with an invitation to join forces, which is actually the trinity of the electric cars offered in India with the Hyundai Kona electro and the Tata Nexon EV.

In all aspects of the evaluation, including the four main categories-adult passengers, child occupant, helpless road user, and safety assistance, the new ZS EV earned the Five Star Euro NCAP scores.

2021 MG ZS EV

A fully-electric motor, consisting of a liquid-cooled 44.5 kWh battery pack of lithium-ion and an electric motor which can provide a total area of more than 340 km on one single charge, is mounted in the new SUV mechanically. The engine is capable of producing a combined output of over 143 horsepower and a peak torque of over 353 Nm and can comfortably drive the car from 0 and 100 kph in just 8.5 seconds. The car has an IP67 ranking and 3 drive modes and 3 regenerative braking levels are required for the car.

2021 MG ZS EV

Currently, the 2021 MG ZS EV will achieve 80% capacity within 50 minutes using Super-Fast DC chargers (50 kW), and the AC fast charge charger will take approximately 6-8 hours to complete the charge. The ZS EV provides a 5-year unlimited kilometer warranty for the vehicle free of charge and a 5-year warranty for 8 years / 150 km battery and also requires 24/7 assistance (RSA) for privately owned vehicles for a period of five years.

Tata Nexon EV now leads the trinity in India with its sales graph. With the latest 2021 ZS EV, MG will aim to improve that.
