2021 Toyota Hilux Facelift Officially Revealed

Toyota Fortuner Facelift 2021 was released in its biggest market, Thailand. However, the carmaker also revealed the new Toyota Hilux Revo facelift alongside the refreshed SUV which carries a similar set of updates. Like the revamped Fortuner, also the redesigned pickup would sell first in Thailand.

2021 Toyota Hilux

In as many as four diesel models-Rocco, Prerunner, Z Edition and Regular-the 2021 Toyota Hilux Revo facelift was launched. The first two are lifestyle versions that are available in crew cab (four doors) configurations as well as an extended cab (two doors).

The Basic version has a normal cab, and the CV section would be appealing. This is also used as a standard cab+chassis and can be mounted in an ambulance, bus, support vehicle, fire engine, etc. By being high in style and utility, the Z Edition offers the best of both worlds.

 

2021 Toyota Hilux

The 2021 Toyota Hilux Revo pickup is on sale in a broad prie band, thanks to the multiple variants. The Rocco, Prerunner, and Z Edition cost approx. 1,080,000 baht (Rs 25.80 lakh), 959,000 baht (Rs 22.94 lakh) and 742,000 baht (Rs 17.75 lakh), respectively, while the Standard variant is on sale at 587,000 (Rs 14.04 lakh).

The facelift of the 2021 Toyota Hilux Revo comes with the same capacity options as the updated Fortuner. This ensures the revamped pickup is on sale with options for 2.8-liter and 2.4-liter diesel engines. The smaller of the two outputs deliver a maximum power of 148 bhp and a peak torque of 400 Nm, while the larger engine delivers 201 bhp and 500 Nm.

The motor is available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or automatic unit with a 6-speed torque converter, depending on the model you select. As an option 4WD will be available.

The updated pick-up truck is equipped with a wide range of features, including updated touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay, TFT MID in the instrument console, keyless push-button start, 8-way driver seat, pre-collision system, lane departure alert, radar cruise control, traction control, electronic stability control, a rearview camera, hill-start assist, hill descent control.

Toyota has planned to launch the Toyota Hilux in early 2021.
