2022 Hyundai Creta Styling Details Unveiled
A new photograph of the 2022 Hyundai Creta has surfaced online, displaying new stylistic details. The graphic hints that Creta will get a mid-cycle refresh that incorporates design ideas from the new Tucson, which debuted globally last year.
While prior spy photos suggested that the SUV’s exterior shell will remain largely intact. However, the photograph suggests that the redesigned mid-size SUV will adopt design influences from the 2017 Tucson, whereas prior shots wore thicker camouflage to cover the design changes.
The headlamps have been redesigned to be more rectangular and to be positioned lower on the front fascia. The LED DRLs are smoothly merged into the grille design in this new image, highlighting the parametric grille design. The bumper and bonnet are also new.
In international markets, the second-generation Creta is available with a variety of engines. The Creta will be offered in India with two 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines, as well as a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine. The 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engines come with either a manual or automatic transmission, while the turbo-petrol engine is only available with a dual-clutch automatic transmission. These engines will almost certainly be used in the future.
The current-generation Creta debuted in China as the ix25 in 2019, with the India-spec SUV making its premiere at the 2020 Auto Expo in February, making the SUV a little over a year old in our market. The 2022 Hyundai Creta is expected to debut in foreign markets in the second half of 2022, with an India launch likely to follow later.
