2022 Maruti Alto To Launch On 18th August

We can officially announce that the brand-new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will go on sale on August 18th, 2022. The Alto K10 will be built entirely from scratch and will even use a brand-new platform. A week before the hatchback’s launch, we anticipate that reservations will start to be accepted.

Recently, the new generation of Alto’s photos was released. The Alto K10 will undoubtedly receive numerous cosmetic and interior changes. The grille and tail lamps on the 2022 Alto have a simple, Celerio-inspired design. Lighting or LED DRLs are not present. Steel wheels measuring 13 inches will be mounted on this car’s side. When it comes to size, the Alto is 3,530 mm long, 1,490 mm wide, and 1,520 mm tall. This hatchback’s gross weight is 1,150 kg, despite its 2,380 mm wheelbase. In comparison to the present Alto, the 2022 Maruti Alto is about 85 mm longer, 45 mm taller, and has a 20 mm longer wheelbase. However, the width remains the same at 1490 mm.

Maruti‘s new generation hatchback will be driven by a 1.0-liter K10C DualJet engine that makes 67 horsepower and 89 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission and has an idle start/stop for better fuel economy. The 1.0-liter engine that Alto will only offer is what gives it the K10 designation. There will be 12 different Alto K10 models available, including STD, LXI, VXI, and VXI+. There will be an optional (O) variant for each of these with further safety features. Along with their respective (O) variants, the automated trim will be offered in VXI and VXI+ variations.

A Smartplay infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, including apple car play and android auto, is added to the revamped interior. Among the additional elements is a computerized instrument cluster. Both the AC and the ORVMs can be adjusted manually. Additionally, there are no steering-mounted audio controls available. White, Silver, Grey, Red, Blue, and Gold are among the six color options available for the next generation of Alto.
