2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara To Launch soon
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara is ready to take the market by storm. On July 20th, this brand-new SUV will hit the market. This vehicle, which serves as Maruti’s flagship, will be offered for sale by the company’s Next premium retailer. The Vitara will be a mid-size SUV based on the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The long-running Maruti S-Cross, which was first introduced in 2015, will be replaced by the Vitara.
Suzuki’s Global C platform, shared by the S Cross, Brezza, and Hyryder, will serve as the foundation for the Vitara. This 2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara is anticipated to have a wheelbase and dimensions similar to the Hyryder. The Vitara will use a similar design to the Suzuki. This vehicle will have LED taillights, LED headlights with LED DRLs, and a good amount of body cladding on the front. 17-inch alloy wheels and front and rear silver skid plates will improve Vitara’s look. While many of the interior components are anticipated to be shared with Hyryder.
Leather will be used extensively in the cabin for the upholstery and accents. It will have a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Other technological features will include remote vehicle ignition, 55+ Suzuki Connect connected car functions, and Arkymys sound tuning. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara will also offer heated leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, an auto-dimming IRVM, a heads-up display, a 360-degree parking camera, push-button start/stop, automated climate control, and ventilated leather seats.
Maruti will probably distinguish between the moderate and strong hybrid variants by using various interior design themes for each. The Toyota Hyryder’s engine will also power the Vitara. A 1.5-liter mild-hybrid engine with 101 horsepower and 136 pound-feet of torque will be the first one available. It is coupled to a paddle-shifted 6-speed automatic transmission and a 5-speed manual transmission. The other engine is a 1.5-liter Atkinson Cycle engine with naturally aspirated fuel that produces 92 HP and 122 Nm of torque. The mild-hybrid manual model can be paired with an All Wheel Drive powertrain with adjustable terrain modes, despite the fact that front-wheel drive is standard across all variants.
This engine generates 79 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque when combined with the electric motor. 115 HP are generated overall, and an e-drive transmission is an option. A 177.6 V lithium-ion battery is combined with this mechanism to provide the Vitara with a 25 km electric-only range. Additionally, it will assist Maruti in achieving industry-leading fuel efficiency.
