2022 Paris Motor show Is Set To Be Held From October 17-23
After a four-year break, the biennial Paris auto show will return in 2022. The 2022 Paris Motor show will be held in conjunction with the Equip Auto trade exhibition, becoming a new event called Paris Automotive Week.
The Paris motor show, which alternates years with the Frankfurt motor show, is one of Europe’s most important automotive events. It was last held in 2018, while the 2020 edition was one of many auto exhibitions that were canceled as a result of the pandemic.
The event’s organizers have now revealed plans for a full-scale comeback from the 17th to the 23rd of October next year, in collaboration with Equip Auto, one of the largest events on the automobile industry’s event calendar.
The Paris Automotive Week event will take place at the Porte de Versailles in the city’s southwest, but French and foreign visitors will be able to access it via a bespoke digital platform.
Only automotive professionals will be able to attend both sections of the exhibition due to the coupling of the two events, which will create an unparalleled dual focus on consumer and trade-facing companies. “Aftersales and connected mobility services” will be the emphasis of the Equip Auto section of the exhibition.
The organizers have yet to identify which manufacturers will be represented at the Paris motor show component, but they promise “a series of events, including stimulating speeches and test drives.”
The BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-AMG A35, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Skoda Kodiaq vRS, and Toyota RAV4 were among the high-profile new cars unveiled during the 2018 event.
