2022 Tata Punch CNG To Launch Soon

We humans have finally realized the value of mother nature after years of environmental degradation. We cannot afford to ignore or take the environment for granted. It is past time for us to start paying our respects to the environment. Because the automobile industry is one of the most polluters, it must be the first to reduce its environmentally hazardous practices.

The use of CNG-powered vehicles was one of the industry’s pollution-control initiatives. Tata Motors, our homegrown brand, also intends to release some CNG variants for its existing models, and reports suggest that the company’s newest arrival, the Tata Punch, will also receive a factory-fitted CNG kit.

Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai are the only two manufacturers in India that offer factory-fitted CNG kits in their passenger vehicles. Tata will soon become the next big name in the CNG market. The Tigor and Tiago CNG variants are already being tested, with the vehicles set to go on sale in January 2022. Recently, a disguised Tata Punch was spotted testing with the CNG variants of Tiago and Tigor, leading us to believe that the new SUV will soon be available with a factory-fitted CNG option.

The design and engine will be identical, with the only difference being the fuel. We’ll keep seeing the 1.2L Revotron engine, which produces 86PS and 113Nm of torque when fed gasoline. When converted to CNG, the engine produces less power and torque but is much gentler in the environment. The 2022 Tata Punch CNG will be the first compact SUV to run on clean fuel, which will attract a lot of attention in the CNG market.

Furthermore, the rising prices of petrol and diesel are only benefiting the upcoming vehicle. Although the vehicle’s initial cost will be higher than that of a gasoline vehicle, this will be offset by the low cost of CNG. Tata Motors wanted to offer a CNG variant for many of its passenger vehicles, including the Nexon and Altroz, but the ongoing semiconductor shortage has limited the company’s manufacturing capacity.
