Hero’s e-Maestro, electric version of the Maestro Edge has recently been spotted in it’s near-production form undisguised.
The e-Maestro looks nearly the same as the Maestro Edge, but has some new and exclusive features such as smoked LED headlamps, copper colored wheels and suspension bits, comes with three modes of drive, Neutral,Drive and Reverse, it also comes with a fully digital instrument cluster with cloud connectivity.

As for the engine/ electric powertrain, it will come with a permanent magnet motor coupled with a lithium ion battery pack, the performance figures haven’t been revealed yet. There are speculations that Hero might take the electric powertrain from the Ather 450X and tweak it for more range for the e-Maestro.
We expect the Hero e-Maestro to be priced around Rs 1 Lakh, the electric scooter will compete against TVS iCube, Ather 450X and Bajaj eChetak.
