Kawasaki Ninja 300 Based EV Teased Again.
Kawasaki has been teasing their electric sportsbike based on the Ninja 300 for quite a while and this time they have revealed a bit more about the upcoming electric motorcycle.
The latest teaser shows the bike having an manual transmission on a fully-faired prototype based on the Ninja 300. Kawasaki has written ‘Shifting Your Impression Of EV Bikes’ in the video and had previously said that the motorcycle has been developed according to the ‘Rideology’ philosophy, it focuses on the bike being fun and exciting to control and reflects Kawasaki’s passion to build desirable motorcycles. Kawasaki has been patenting various technologies left and right, one of them is a thumb-brake activated energy recovery system and transmission. The prototype bikes comes with a DC fast charger that is able to charge the bike to 100 percent in just 30 minutes.
The motorcycle shares most of the components such as the, chassis, suspensions, brakes and wheels from the Ninja 300 and uses a 4-Speed transmission compared to the 6-Speed unit found on the latter.
