BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe Bookings Open Ahead Of India Launch
BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe bookings opened before its India launch on 15 October. The four-door coupe can only be booked via the website of the manufacturer and is available on two trims.
From 6 October, BMW India launched reservations for the new 2 Gran Coupe series. With an amount of Rs 50,000, the sedan can be booked exclusively online. The early-bird benefit includes a Taj Experiences gift-card worth Rs. 50,000 for those who book the car before the pricing notice takes place at noon on October 15th. For multiple transactions, restaurants, restaurants, spa, and other events in most of the Taj properties of India, you can redeem the Gift card.
The information on the trim levels of the new sedan also was provided by BMW India. The Gran Coupe BMW 2 Series is available in two classes-Sportline and M Sport. The Gran Coupe Sportline Trim Series BMW 2 is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels, leather tubing, ‘Berlin Illuminated’ interior trim, and a choice of five shades.
In M sports trim, the 2-series Gran Coupe M Sport has several M-specific tweaks inside and out. It features an M sport bodypack with more sports bumping and side apron, ‘M’ badges on the front fenders, chrome embellished front grill, and gloves. The body trim is equipped with a range of 6 external color options, and a selector range of M Sports M models. Within it, there is a steering wheel from M Sport and sporty pedals in aluminum.
Both Sportline and M Sport have digital dials and the possibility of choosing between a beige-and-black interior design all-black or dual-tone.
At launch, a 190 hp, 2.0-liter turbo-diesel motor will be installed at the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, the model being called the Gran Coupe BMW 220d. A little later, with a 192hp, 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, powering 220i Gran Coupe is expected too. The standard-fit will be an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe will be positioned under the BMW line-up of the 3 Series. The BMW 2 Gran Coupe is competing for the next Mercedes-Benz A-Class and the Audi A3 sedan in India. As for the rivals, they are competing in India. Expect Grand Cup prices for BMW 2 Series, to begin with, Rs. 35 lakh (former showroom).
