BMW 530i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition Launched At A Price Of INR 67.50 Lakh
At a cost of Rs 67.50 lakh, BMW has introduced the 50 Jahre M Edition of the 530i M Sport in India (ex-showroom, India). After the M340i and the 630i M Sport were introduced by the manufacturer, this makes it the third special edition model. BMW will introduce seven more “50 Jahre Editions” in India as part of the ongoing 50th-anniversary festivities of its M Performance division, which will feature vehicles like the M4, M5, and its SUV lineup.
The BMW 530i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition receives significant cosmetic upgrades over the normal model and is only offered in four BMW Individual paint colors: Carbon Black, Bernina Grey Amber, Phytonic Blue, and Alpine White. These modifications include the 18-inch black alloy wheels with red brake calipers, the darker LED headlights, the gloss black kidney grille, and the window surrounds.
The vehicle will also include M insignia, which are semicircles in the colors of blue, violet, and red, on the front, rear, and hubcaps. These emblems were inspired by early BMW Motorsport race cars.
On the limited-edition vehicle, BMW is providing three exclusive packages. The first is the Racer package, which consists of a key fob, a matte-black completed rear spoiler, and black side skirts. Wing mirrors with a carbon fiber finish are included in the Motorsports package, and the kidney grille and rear spoiler with a carbon fiber finish are included in the Carbon package.
The interior design and cabin are still reminiscent of the basic 530i M Sport. BMW has however given the limited edition sport seats a cognac upholstery with contrast stitching, a piano black finish on the center console, and a black ceramic surround.
The BMW 530i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition has the same amenities as the basic model, including a wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, four-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and Harmon Kardon audio.
The 2.0-liter, 252hp, 350Nm turbo-petrol engine that powers the 530i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition remain unchanged mechanically from the base model. The 530i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition has an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and can reach 100 kph in 6.1 seconds.
The German company now offers the M4 Competition, M5 Competition, M8 Coupe, and X5M Competition for sale in India. Additionally, BMW has revealed that it will build M-Certified stores in India where clients can buy just everything associated with the M brand, including automobiles, accessories, and apparel.
