BMW 630i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition Launched At INR 72.90 Lakh
BMW has introduced the 630i M Sport “50 Jahre Edition” at a price of Rs 72.90 lakh as part of the ongoing 50th anniversary of its M Performance division (ex-showroom, India). The 630i is the second model to join the lineup, following the limited-edition M340i ’50 Jahre Edition’ that was unveiled by the brand. Eight further “50 Jahre Editions” will hit the market, including models from BMW’s SUV lineup, the M4, M5, and 5 Series.
Inside, the BMW 630i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition has seatbelts and Dakota leather upholstery on the sports seats. A two-part panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, and electrically adjustable front seats have also been added. Two 10.25-inch screens for rear passengers are carried over from the basic car, along with a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and infotainment system, a Harmon Kardon sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Additionally, the manufacturer included air suspension and driving modes as standard equipment.
The 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that powers the Jahre Edition has the same 285 horsepower and 400 Nm as the ordinary vehicle. BMW has made no technical alterations to the powertrain. The 630i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds when connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The company recently debuted the i4 electric sedan and also revealed plans to build M-Certified stores in India. The M Certified dealerships allow customers to shop exclusively for anything associated with the M brand, such as cars, accessories, and goods, similar to Mercedes-AMG Performance Centers.
