BMW M4 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition Launched At INR 1.53 Crore

BMW has introduced the M4 Competition coupe’s 50 Jahre M Edition in the Indian market for a price of Rs. 1.53 crore (ex-showroom, India). This raises the price by Rs 9 lakh over the M4 Competition’s base model. It is the first special edition of the full-fledged M model and the fourth special edition model following the M340i, 630i M Sport, and 530i M Sport. BMW will introduce six more 50 Jahre Editions in India as part of the ongoing 50th-anniversary festivities of its M division, which will also include more M Sport and M models.

The 50 Jahre M Edition differs slightly from the ordinary M4 Competition in terms of appearance and is offered in a variety of BMW Individual paint colors, including Macao blue and Imola red. The M4 Competition, like the other 50 Jahre M Editions before it, has M emblems at the front, back, and hubcaps that are modeled from vintage Motorsport racecars. The design features semicircles in blue, violet, and red.

The BMW M4 Competition 50 Jahre M has the same features as the standard M4, including high-gloss black wing mirrors, a rear spoiler, and quad exhausts. It also has adaptive LED headlights with BMW Laser lights. Additionally, 19/20-inch double-spoke alloy wheels in Orbit Grey and Gold Bronze are an option for the 50 Jahre M Edition.

The interior design substantially resembles that of the normal M4 Competition. The wording “Edition 50 Jahre BMW M” on the door sill, the metal plaque on the center console, and the headrests are all giveaways that this is the special edition vehicle. A three-zone temperature control system, ambient lighting, and electrically adjustable front seats with memory functions are all included in the feature list, which is the same as that for the M4 Competition.

The 50 Jahre Edition of the M4 Competition remains unchanged mechanically. It is equipped with an 8-speed automated transmission and a 510 horsepower, 3.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that can accelerate the car from 0 to 100 in 3.5 seconds.
