Bajaj has finally launched the BS6 version of the Pulsar 125. It now comes with a BS6 compliant engine which now produces 12 PS of power and 11 NM of torque. There has been a minor drop in power and torque figures, which is not that noticeable while riding and the inclusion of Fuel Injection has made the throttle much crisper than before. Other than these changes, mechanically it remains the same and is still mated to the same 5-speed gearbox.
Visually and Features wise nothing has changed and it looks the same as the BS4 model. It continues to get the semi-digital instrument cluster, halogen headlamp with pilot lights, LED taillamps, clip-on handlebars, muscular tank and a matte paint finish.
The BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 125 comes in two variants: Drum and Disc. The drum variant is the cheaper one which comes with 130 mm drum brakes at both front and the rear whereas the Disc variant is the costlier one in which there is a 240 mm disc at the front and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear. The motorcycle is being offered in three colour options: Neon Blue, Solar Red and Platinum Silver.
The Pricing for the BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 125 is as follows:
Drum- Rs 69,997
Disc- Rs 74,118
*All prices indicated are ex-showroom, New Delhi (April 2020).
