Datsun Redi-GO BS6 facelift to be launched after the Lockdown ends
Datsun India, a subsidiary of Nissan India has teased the upcoming redi-Go facelift which offers improved features and looks. It also meets the Bs6 norms.
In an official statement, Datsun India states that
The new redi-GO is a complete package of bold design, power, and performance for its price and displacement.
The lockdown is effective till 03.may.2020 but looking to the current scenario, Nobody can assume the end of the nationwide lock-down.
So We expect the budget hatchback to be launched after COVID-19 lockdown is withdrawn i.e. by mid-May 2020.
Compared to its BS4 model, the front-end has received a major change. It can be observed that the Datsun Redi-GO BS6 facelift has the elongated L-shaped LED DRLs, a large grille that dominates the entire front profile from its teaser.
The Datsun Redi-GO BS6 facelift gets a fresh set of five-spoke wheel caps. Alloy wheels are still not available even as an option just like its major rivals.
The current model gets only a driver-side airbag and that’s why it scored a 1-star rating in Global NCAP crash tests. But still, there is uncertainty in any improvements in the safety department.
However, The engine output figures remain the same as before at 53bhp/72Nm and 67bhp/91Nm, respectively. We expect the car will be launched at a starting price just under Rs 3 lakh ex-showroom.
