Ducati Hypermotard 950 Launched At A Price Of INR 12.99 Lakh

Ducati launched the all-new Hypermotard 950 line in India on Wednesday, with prices starting at 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base Hypermotard 950 RVE and up to 16.24 lakh (ex-showroom) for the higher-spec Hypermotard 950 SP trim.
The Hypermotard is one of Ducati’s most ferocious motorcycles to leave the Borgo Panigale plant. The outside appearance of the Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE and SP has been ‘influenced by the look of motards,’ according to the firm. The new Hypermotard’s design is still centered on the twin under-seat exhaust and the decreased superstructures that add to the car’s fully naked appearance. The new Hypermotard is powered by a 937cc Ducati Testastretta 11° twin-cylinder engine.
The powertrain has been updated, resulting in an increased power of 4 hp and a 1.5 kg reduction in engine weight. At 9,000 rpm, the complete power output is now 114 horsepower, with 96 Nm of peak torque available at 7,250 rpm. According to the firm, 80 percent of the torque on the Hypermotard 950 is accessible at 3,000 rpm, with no less than 88 percent available between 5,000 and 9,000 rpm.
The Ducati Safety Pack (DSP), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO, and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) up/down EVO are among the key electronics on the new Hypermotard 950, which includes its new ultra-modern Bosch 6-axis inertial platform, Bosch Cornering ABS EVO (with Slide by Brake function) and Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO.
