Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and Sport Pro Launched in India At Rs 11.95 Lakh
The BS6 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro have now finally been launched by Ducati India in India. In India now the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and the Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro are available from INR 11.95 Lakh and INR 13.74 Lakh respectively. For some time now, Ducati teased the Scramblers. The Scrambler 1100s is Ducati’s second offering in India, following the introduction of the BS6 standards.
Although we’d love to see the Scrambler 800 join this party, we might have to wait for it to arrive there a little longer as the Scrambler 800 series still needs to be certified as Euro-5.
Ducati did not reveal it earlier, but from the beginning, we expected that both the Scrambler 1100s will be launched by the Italian brand together and this is exactly what happened. A Euro5-compliant 1079cc air-cooled L-Twin powering engine, 86hp at 7500rpm and 88Nm at 4750rpm, are available in each motorcycle. This is a 1.1PS decline in performance over the BS4 engine. The engine is driven by three modes: Active, Journey, and City. Four-stage traction control and ABS cornering are other electronic rider supports. A revised exhaust system also supports the new Scrambler Pros in fulfilling emissions standards.
Besides a cleaner motor, a new paint job, an updated seat, and a tail section consisting of a shorter rear slider and a lower number plate holder are also included in the Scrambler 1100s. A flatter handlebar with bar-end mirrors and Ohlins suspension, the Ducati Scrambling 1100 Sport Pro stands out.
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro is the more affordable of the two and receives Marzocchi 45 mm forks and Kayaba mono-shock, with Ohlins suspension at both ends of the premium Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro. Both motorcycles are equipped with Brembo and Pirelli MT60 RS pneumatic tires. The Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro also comes with lower controls with bar-end mirrors in the coffee racer style. The framed headlights are another feature, and a black metal “X” was incorporated into the headlight inspired by the protective sleeve tape used back in the 70s.
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro is known for its new color scheme with two tones ‘Ocean Drive’ in combination with a steel tree frame and a black, rear aluminum subframe. There are also black aluminum coverings. A Matt Black design in addition to side panels with 1100 logos has been added for the 1100 sport. The 1100 Sport Pro. BS4 Scrambler 1100 prices are used for Rs 10,91 lakh, reaching 11,42 lakh until Rs 11.42. However, by Rs 1.03 lakh, the new model BS6 became more costly.
As we said before, Ducati launched the Panigale V2 at INR 16.99 in India. The Panigale Ducati V2 draws the power of a Supercarbon L-twin engine of 955 cc that produces 10,750 cm 155 bhp and can achieve a top torque of 104 Nm at 9,000 rpm. Combine it with only 153 kg of lightweight, and between your thighs, you have an explosive performer. The Panigale 959 churned 150 hp and 102 NM, in comparison. The 959 Panigale weighed 176 kg so the power to weight ratio of the Panigale V2 is much better.
