Harley-Davidson India has begun delivering motorcycles. Most of their motorcycles are on offer.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many motorcycle manufacturers have come up with new strategies to minimize losses and one of the most popular strategy is to deliver motorcycles directly to a customer’s house. Harley-Davidson India is also making use of the same strategy and will be providing motorcycles directly to their customer’s doorstep.
But there’s a catch, as Harley-Davidson India has not provided the option of buying motorcycles online, customers will have to contact a dealer directly for checking model availability. When all things are confirmed they will have to visit the dealership for documentation and other formalities.
It’s a good initiative by Harley-Davidson India, but it also comes with a condition, motorcycles will be delivered without any extra delivery charge if the customer’s address is within 40 KM of a dealership. If a customer’s address is not within 40 KM then the customer will have to pay extra for every additional kilometre (KM). The home delivery option is available for a limited time period.
Harley-Davidson India recently started selling motorcycles through CSD (Canteen Stores Department).
