Hero has finally launched the Xtreme 160R in India. Prices starts from Rs 99,950.
Hero had planned to launch the Xtreme 160R in February but the plans were delayed and the COVID-19 pandemic delayed it even more. But now the motorcycle has finally been launched and is available to be purchased across Hero dealerships across the nation.
The motorcycle is powered by a new BS6 compliant 163 cc, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine which is capable of producing 15 bhp of power and 14 nm of torque.
The motorcycle sits on a new tubular diamond chassis which resulted in a very light motorcycle with a kerb weight of 138.5 Kg (for the single disc variant) and 139.5 Kg (for the rear disc variant).
The Hero Xtreme 160R comes equipped with features such as: a fully digital instrument cluster, side stand engine cut off and hazard lights.
The motorcycle is being offered in two variants: Front Disc and Dual Disc, with the difference between the two variants being that the Front Disc variant comes equipped with a 276 mm petal disc brake at the front and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear whereas in the Dual Disc variant both the wheels come equipped with a disc brake of 276 mm and 220 mm petal disc respectively.
Do note that Single-Channel ABS is standard on both variants.

Hero Xtreme 160R Front Disc: Rs 99,950
Hero Xtreme 160R Dual Disc: Rs 103,500
