The City hybrid features a new powertrain as well as other cosmetic and equipment modifications. Starting with the exterior, it features a Honda emblem with a blue edge signifying that it is a hybrid vehicle. A diffusor and a boot lid spoiler are added to the rear, along with a new garnish for the fog lamps. LED headlights, Z-shaped LED taillamps, and 16-inch alloy wheels are the only outward aspects that haven’t changed.

The Honda City Hybrid is equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine and a twin electric motor, producing 126 horsepower and 253 Nm of peak torque. This 1.5L engine produces a maximum of 98hp and 127Nm of torque on its own. The City Hybrid claims to have the best fuel economy in the sector at 26.5 km/l. The Honda City Hybrid is equipped with Honda’s i-MMD hybrid technology, which is also used in the company’s other vehicles. The hybrid design allows for three drive modes: one that uses just the electric motors, one that uses only the internal combustion engine (a lock-up clutch transmits power to the wheels directly), and a third that uses both.

The Honda Sensing Suite includes ADAS features for the City Hybrid. The collision mitigation, road departure mitigation, auto high beam, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control is among the features. 4 disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, TPMS, 6 airbags, and vehicle stability control, and hill-start assist are among the other safety features.
